The Gorenje Group The Gorenje group is, with 6,700 employees, one of the largest Slovene production companies and is the number one Slovene exporter. The Gorenje group joint-stock company comprises 36 firms of which 14 are in Slovenia and 22 abroad. Gorenje produces approximately 2 million household appliances every year, of which 93% are exported to demanding foreign markets. We operate on 60 markets around the world, of which the most important, besides the domestic market, are Germany, France, Croatia, Austria, Denmark, the USA, Czech Republic and Poland. Fridges and freezers, cookers, ovens and hot plate appliances, washing machines and tumble dryers are the main product of the Gorenje group. Market share: we are the leading company on the domestic market, and on the European market as a whole we hold a 3% share. We are investing in the development of our own brand names, through which we sell 73% of our entire production. Our own brand names are: Gorenje, Sidex, Körting, Gorenje Pacific.
