The National and University Library The National and University Library was built to the plans of architect Joze Plecnik between 1935 and 1940. The building is a four-storeyed four-wing in the shape of an irregular rectangle, with two small inner yards. In the interior you can be surprised by a number of excellent architectural details, made of marble, bronze or wood.
